Or did Journey rock? I'm talking about the old stuff, Wheel in the Sky, Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin. I'm sorry, call it cheesy...but Journey kicked some butt...anyone else care to add?

I do kinda like "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'," but I still feel compelled to beat you up.

Hey, at least i admit to listening to it, that's gotta get me something more than an ass-kicking. Cheesy keyboards aside....they wrote some good stuff. And Steve Perry can sing with the best of them....Peace

i got to admit wheel in the sky always makes me think... i thought that was a really well written song :-\...
maybe they were the boy band of there day... but they were good for what they were... and they did a good job of it... and didn't do it like the pop stars do it today... so i have a lot more respect for many of them

well, most members of the early journey came right out of carlos santana's band in their prime, so all the musicians were serious session players. gregg rolie sang the original version of "black magic woman" for santana.
i've never been much of a steve perry journey fan, although i loved "evolution" in high school. after that, they got pretty commercially sappy and i lost interest.
