Someone at work just informed me. I should have caught on though, I couldn't figure out why he was a story on CNN's Headline SHOW this morning. I didn't catch the part where they mentioned he died, just something about his 7 words infamy. So now I get it. Now I'm sad to see him go. My folks rented one of his specials a long time ago and I loved him ever since.

He was great in Dogma.

I love Buddy Jesus.

I used to worship the sun and pray to Joe Pesci, but for a while I think I might try worshiping the sun and praying to George Carlin.

Fuck shit piss cunt cocksucker motherfucker tits. There's only one of those words left that I haven't actually heard on TV.

Quite a shame. I remember watching a special on Comedy Central where they interviewed him and he talked about his grandfather. The guy was 80, and still doing pushups in his kitchen every morning. Carlin said something like "I want to do that when I'm 80. It'll scare the hell out of the people who live in his house, too."
"Warren Zevon would be proud." -Reve Mosquito

I really liked his cameo in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. "Don't be so suburban."
