....unfortunately, the link to my cover is currently broken...although the wonderful gentleman who is kindly assisting by hosting the tune (ahem, "look up") will repair it as soon as he's done repairing some diplomat's ego.

won't be long now.....(p.s. thanks man!!, in advance!!!)

Also, 15-16, you have a masterful way of telling the story of the film, yet creating a set of lyrics that could also be an interesting love song... I really enjoyed getting into your tune!! ....now if only you could hear it!
...I watched the movie twice before singing to make sure I could relate better...

(EDIT-link removed....)

....thanks for the quick repair man!

...don't know when Santa will get the time... so here's the link for now!

...I also realize that mixing at 3: 00 am when you have to get up for work at 6 is never a good idea... my overall level is too quiet I think... so I'll have to fix it up tonight... I'll post here when I make the switch!

I'm about 2/3 of the way through my first listen, and for the most part these songs are blowing me away! You can totally hear the love. Amazing what can be done with a great song, and more than a month to record it. :)

I'm actually gonna review these later.

Puz, you write awesome songs! Merry Hxaro!

wow, holy shit.

I need coffee and then I will listen and heap love all over you guys.

I will start with this: Thanks to everyone involved. If I already know what you sound like, I am very excited to hear what you did.

Thanks!

Just so you know, my favorite part of the whole experience was trying to pick a song. It was quite difficult. Your catalogue is impressive and varied.

Don't Fix It is a lovely song. We had fun covering it.

And great credit to Puce for helping us with the mix (and mixing in general).

We had a lot of fun doing this. It was nice to have a little more time than usual to get something down. I hope it shows. That's SpudNut doing the backing vocals.

Also, our mix has been updated since this morning. There was a mixing error in which the final accordian chord went missing, just like Spalding Gray. But unlike Spalding Gray, it has returned.

Thanks for writing such a fun song, Erik.

My pick was really easy.

I have admired it since it was performed @ songfight LIVE! Plain & Tall in Lancaster, PA (one of the 9 places that congress congregated before deciding on carving out DC)

He made a couple of mistakes in it during taht performance... so I didn't make it one of the ones I encoded... but here are a couple of others in their entirety. Also, I mixed in a bit of Bad Dreams in one of the 'highlights' from the site. ( http://chris.hoblit.net/sfpt/other.html )

The amazing part is that no one picked the same song! Everyone seemed to get their favorite pick, and there were no duplicate requests for a song!

That says a lot about how good the material is. :)

I actually rushed the Basket Robbers entry. It took me a little over an hour last night, and I just got it in under the wire. I almost wish I had taken more time to make it, but I think it turned out ok under the circumstances. It's also the first time I have attempted to use my J-station in a while. Maybe I will start working with it again...

ROCK!
