INXS Coverfight

Post by Niveous »

Seeing as Australia won the Songfight Olympics, I say we should celebrate by having an INXS coverfight. Who's up for it?

I've always love "I send a message". The punchy groove and breaks always get me groovin'. I can't help but think how much this song could rock done in about 1:35 screaming as loud as I can with full distortion on my guitar turned up to 11.

I'd prefer Cold Chisel. INXS never really did much for me.

Though I'd like to do a cover of The Loved One by The Loved Ones - which INXS later did a cover of.

The INXS version. I like INXS's version better. I've always thought they wrote it. Learn something new everyday.

I would record an INXS song for sure. "Kick" is one of my favorite albums by anyone.

ROCK!

"Need You Tonight" is about the only song coming to mind for me.

Sounds fun.

Makes me wish I had drums here...like every fight I think about entering.

Don't Change would have been my second choice. I'd love to hear your take on that one Paco.

Okay there seems to be a good response rate for this, so let's set a date. Let's say....three weeks from today.

Hrmmmm, I posted just now but my post seems to have disappeared into the ether, so apologies if it appears and I am repeating myself.

I would be up for helping out on a collaboration on 'Never Tear Us Apart'. It's the only INXS song i like, but I like it a lot.

Argh, this is going very slowly; I haven't gotten anything to my bandmates yet. Can we extend? I am a bad person.

Hmmm...I have a finished version that I wanted to 'get out of the way' and am wondering if I should do version two. Glennny, are you still there? Is this still on? Sibilance...sibilance....
