Hello.

Nothing has happened yet this morning. Wow, my day has been full of the boring.

So I'm sitting here listening to "Into the Night" by Benny Mardones. And I'm wondering, so which is it. Is the song about a father figure who takes a young girl away from abusive parents or is it about a pedophile. And that led me to a QotD.

QotD: Has there ever been a song here at Songfight that has left you baffled to what it's about?

I have often been baffled by our songs. Especially the Stubs-penned numbers.

Songs that DON'T baffle would be a shorter list. But what fun would that be?

Bafflement Forever! Or never, whatever.

Everything REM & most of TMBG's. REM's Radio Song is about the only song that I know what they mean with 100% confidence.

I usually don't know exactly what I'm writing about. That's probably why my lyrics have little to no meaning to me. I should work on that.
