Are you all surprised? I'm surprised. A giftee likes my GOM submission. Huzzah!
I know I'm not on the boards very much, but I wanted to take a moment to thank Elaine DiMasi for all of her effort on the Jack Johnson cover. I really like the arrangement! It's a very creative interpretation, and I enjoy it a lot! I particularly like the great harmonies near the end.
Thanks for putting your time into this! It is very much appreciated!

So with wishes of health, wealth, and wisdom in the new year, I present you my belated arrangement of
Hey, that's quite all right! It's a good story to go along with a good cover. I think I knew they'd broken up or something but it's lucky they weren't in jail like Boy George.
I believe the Itty Bitty Stiffee Committee (or whatever the gifter collective is calling itself) is still waiting a bit longer to spring into action. Nevertheless, here is the annual GoM Stiffee Report.

True - we are giving a one week grace period before beginning. Thanks for the list
I have finally finished my song. It's not exactly the way I wanted it, but after not being able to use my new midi software, a hard drive failure, a singer with a sore throat, two software problems, bad basswork and some other tribulations, I'm just happy to have delivered a clean good song.
I'll be checking out the songs today.
Thanks J$, I can't wait to check out version of Interpol. Thanks, man!
Albatross: I never received a PM, so I assume that I was indeed far too late in entering. I'll be glad to do one as soon as I know who's still working on a cover and who isn't.

I am coordinating the effort for those who have been stiffed and I think we have it covered. PM me if you're interested.
Niveous! Thank you so much for Love is a Battlefield! It sounds so sad, you captured the emotion well. It was worth the wait! Thanks again for coming through! Happy GOM indeed!

That is awesome Roy! I listened on my headphones, so naturally my brain started spinning around in my skull and now looks like a head of cauliflower wrapped in yarn. Now if you will excuse me, I need to listen to it in reverse to unwind before something important snaps.
Sorry to bring it so late, but I hope it lifts you up!
Dude. Holy crap. Thank you. I was excited about your submission, not even knowing it was for me. WOO WOO. Man, I better hurry up and get mine finished. I really have no problem with the lateness. It's just a shame it'll be ineligible for prizes.
NOW I suppose I should actually listen to this thing...
