big sappy assed thank you thread

Links and other hanky panky that doesn't have to do with anything in particular.

big sappy assed thank you thread

Post by jack »

hey, remember last year when i started a little thank you thread and it turned into this big huge oozing lovefest, and everyone started feeling all gooey and warm from all the love and thank yous that were being dispensed?

well, i'm not going to do that this year.

but i do want to thank JB and Spud for another great year of hard work, dedication, and perseverence. It's because of you guys that so much awesome music gets created and shared for free, and you guys really do give everyone the gift of music.
ug. how cliche. sorry.

so thanks. alot. and thanks to all the reviewers too.

Thank you for the children.

My thank you is for an unexpected, pleasant suprise... as I sit at my desk, trying to master my newly assigned duties, I get a call from Mr. Hip Cola!! We chat for a few minutes, then he had to go deal with the reactor meltdown at his work, but THANKS BRO!!! You spiced up my day...

Thanks Jack, for being a thankful dude. yada yada.

Hey man, you are so welcome. I actually called because I was remembering the rudiments of music lessons you were giving me somewhere between Regina and Calgary as we we drove to the coast...something about creating tetrachords with different parts of different scales....
Anyhow, sorry I couldn't say more than 16 words, but that's the nature of this job. I have to work with very short sound-bytes. I'll try again this afternoon...

Thanks for the thanks!

songfights i did this year: 25

so thanks songfight. i wouldn't have done these without you. add another dozen or so sidefight songs i did and i'd say that made for a fairly productive year. if you ever listened to one of my tunes, wrote some thoughts on it, shared a link for it, covered it, i humbly and honestly thank you.

have a safe a happy new year everyone. we'll see you next year!

Happy new year!

52 songfight songs

10 remixfight remixes

1 AAD (11 songs)

1 marathon album (17 songs)

2 side albums (16 songs)

1 live performance

countless sidefights, covers & other songs

Total for year = at least 110 songs. About two a week.

You only have yourselves to blame. :) But thank you anyway.

Same to Spud and all others "behind the curtain".
