Despite the desire to have more collabs for my Ford's Theater Disaster project, I haven't done much because my schedule is pretty tight. I can work on recording pretty much Friday mornings and that's it.
However, with nearly a week between Friday morning and the due date, I'd love to have someone do some real drums for this fight. Any other collaborations are welcome as well (I don't have a real bass).
Here are the lyrics to give you an idea. I have a few guitar riffs plunking around in my head and I'll see what spills out when I can get some proper axe-time:
This one goes out to
Those Betty Crocker Fools
Who bury fear in their coke and and booze
Your Beamers and your yachts
Tie you up in knots
Those bars were there to protect me from you
You played by Talmud rules
But now I'm back from school
My homework done and now it's time to play
Don't worry it ain't no thing
I'm just gonna swing
This foster home is just the same as yours
I slip right out the back
Every time goes slack
The chain you gave to help them sleep in peace
I can pick the lock
And your door then knock
To hand you back those wasted years in Hell
They say I paid my debt
But you never got a check
I guess you're not the one I owe
I guess you're not the one I owe
MacArthur swore to me
To come back by the sea
And bring his tanks to run over your lawn
So much time in clink
For a petty crime you'd think
Was not bad just a prank kids play
I just torched a cat
Left it lyin' flat
On your porch beside the morning news
They say I paid my debt
But you never got a check
I guess you're not the one I owe
I guess you're not the one I owe
I mended my old ways
Gone are those old days
Of misdemeanors and boring petty theft
Now I'm in so deep
At the bottom of the heap
Of human slime you tried to hide in vain
In juvie did I learn
How to slip my bonds and burn
Firesales for arsonists are free
They say I paid my debt
But you never got a check
I guess you're not the one I owe
I guess you're not the one I owe

Re: Back from Juvie drums
Thanks to Big Crouton, Signboy and Eric Y. for the offers to collab. Looks like we have a band!
