I wouldn't swear to it, but I've got to be near enough to the top of that list - if we're including collabs.

And ps for the fight that I wasn't in (mentioned a page or two back) that's only because someone at the time told me it would be bad form to break #'s 25(?) song streak.

Yeah, that sounds more or less how I remember it - a lot of people came right up to the edge but didn't want to disrespect #, but then WreckdoM came along.

I count myself at about 16 different names I've entered under (including collabs). I am guessing a few people, including J$ would beat that.

Fair enough. I (mis)remembered you breaking that record because you didn't know the tradition.

well, in fairness to wreckdom, they didn't know they weren't supposed to break the record, and i'm not even sure they knew it when they did. i recall them feeling kind of bad about it when they found out.

not to discredit their bad boy rep....... :)

ok, here's one that might be kind of easy for some of you, but not impossible to find out for anyone.

da hikk played once at a songfight live, but not billed as "da hikk". who is he and what songfight live did he play at?

Q: Okay, everyone knows Jim Tyrrell was crowned "n00b of the month" for February, 2004. Who created that title and announced its winner?

Well, to the best of my knowledge, that was the first name KF submitted to Songfight under.

Octofest was because their studio (a rat-infested shed on the lot which is now the site of Spud's awesome house) got broken into and most of their equipment was stolen.

Mad Dog is the artist formerly known as "Bro."

Well, if you count "Jon Eric," plus all my pseudonyms, plus all my collaboration band names, I've got 27 28 (28 29 when the new fight goes up; my entry will be "Jon Eric & Friends"). Can anyone beat that?

Solo, I've only ever used five names: Jon Eric, Jo Neric, Big Mistake, The Harmonica, and MC Baccarat.

(EDIT: Added one because I forgot about "Jon Eric sings Ross Durand")

Although "n00b" was typically Blue's word, and Erik was long known as the Song Fight! Welcome Wagon ("please be awesome!"), neither of these is the answer I was looking for. Unless my memory is faulty.........

Well 15-16 was the backup answer (which was more an issue of attitude, as the "welcome wagon" thing started much much later) but I was pretty sure it was Blue too.

Was it drewtetz or something else completely left-field?

For collaborations that MAY be a win but I'd find it a lot more interesting to find the winner for solo names. I am pretty sure drew wins it - he had something like 15 (more if you count It's Charging).
