Re: Wishing for a good title? (prefight)
Anyone want to try something? You write some tunage for this and then I'll write the lyrics and sing. Anyone interested, please PM me. If its gunna be good, I would need sample music to write to by, say, Wednesday the 26th (prefer sooner), and a version to record to by Sunday the 30th (I'll be away 28th until the evening of the 30th, so that's cutting it close).
If not, happy fighting! Seems like a cool title with possibilities.

Finally, a Death- Metal-worthy title. This will be a sick fight.
I've got a better idea. You go in there and talk to him. I'm going home. http://www.facebook.com/#/pages/REFLEKT ... 011?ref=nf

Yeah, Headshot, I immediately got an emotional response from that title. I might have to do a song, and actually finish it in time to submit it. Anyone wanna collab this week? PM me.

Make sure you're reading it as "Back to the Well" not "Back to the Wall".

"Back to the Well" should be death-metal worthy, as long as the well is in Hell.

I'm thinking more Silence of The Lambs, as in "It puts the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again" kind of thing.

I don't know if I should be floored by the video and tune or if I should be disgusted! That's amazing. Thanks for not resisting.Rabid Garfunkel wrote:Sorry... couldn't resist
EDIT: BTW, just posted a collab thread for this title. Really hoping someone wants to come on board with this track!

I'm going GnG this week. Or GnGnM.
Yeah, GnGnM.
Unless I think of something else to add.

I entered my entry. It's alright. I'm kinda rusty, so I don't expect to win. It's kinda sloppy. But it's lovable. Redundant sounding, lol reviews are gonna be brutal on this one.

Trying to be in for this. Going for a cajun/polka kind of thing.
EDIT: I believe this is my first non-GnG entry without a guitar solo. I broke a string and decided that instead of replacing it I'd just skip recording a solo. The resulting song is 59 seconds long.

If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

At this point the only thing I still have to do is decide which band name to use.

Re: Wishing for a good title? (prefight)
Just need to record the vocals, and I'm in. Going for a "what-if-children-of-bodom-had-no-instruments?" kind of feel here.
Edit: With cookie monster vocals, because my high scream just isn't coming out right today, or maybe it's my mic... ugh.
Edit DEUX: Scratch that! All forms of screams succesfully recorded (sound quality is up for debate, but it IS a demo after all, nothing recorded with a computer microphone through Audacity could be anything BUT a demo, lol). Now to just let the mix simmer for a day before stirring it once or twice if needed before serving it to the fightmaster.

Re: Wishing for a good title? (prefight)
I've got a track in progress. As of this moment, I think it's a "Jon Eric & Friends," but if I get one more collaborator, I'll probably enter it as IRC BFF.
Just needs lyrics....
