I'm just quoting Tardy the Turtle, from Greg the Bunny.

ALISON: Everyone here hates me.
GIL: No, they don't all hate you. Tardy, what do you think to Alison?
TARDY: I love Alison!
ALISON: Tardy, what do you think of ashtrays?
TARDY: I love ashtrays! [wheeze]
[Alison storms off as Jon pops a button laughing]

Ya know... a while back the avatar police started bitching cause my 100 pixel square avatar was exceeding the "songfight" standard.... so... I comply, and not only can I not make out my drum kit without the use of a freaking microscope, but I notice that TONS of avatars are just too big. So what's up with that eh?

I want avatar-equality damn it.

I'll settle for the doctor laying off the cop routine if I make my avatar a wee bit bigger though....

thanks Kamakura...(at first I thought your moniker was "karmakura"...heh? heh? )

I just want to display my gear actually... maybe we need another "look at my gear" thread... I don't think there is one round here...

ummm... "gear" as in instruments.

I mean the kind you play.

Musical ones.

Needles and spoons? Man, I would so prefer not to, Sanford.

And yeah, looked at all the regular posters' avatars and chose the least offensive width to not go wider than (Puce's, actually, which is what, 150?). Hadda rotate the sheep to make it work, spin cycle, heh.

http://tinypic.com/ <- great place for avatar hosting. no info needed at all.

Also, lots of people like to link to pictures on my site as avatars, especially one called 'avatar.jpg' which is a REALLY BIG picture of my old "magenta" avatar (which some software "resizes" using width= and height= which just means it's lots of lots of bandwidth used for 8000 pixels of screen space, and also makes my hotlink watermark not appear). So usually I make special images just for people who do stuff like that, for example, most recently, someone on some Brazilian warez boards now has this as their avatar:

Image

which was my best attempt at writing "I am a dumb motherfucker. I need to make a new avatar," in Spanish, which I assume is close enough to Portuguese that he'll get the gist eventually.
