Been lurking on and off for years. Finally decided to get off my ass and actually post something.
I almost did the "After Hours" one a while ago; got half a song written and then lazed out the day before.
Hoping to being a bit more productive in the future, recording songs in my dark and tiny basement.
So, ya: hello!

It's actually my initials, but it seems to be used as short for "background music" quite a bit.
Often in video game speak, but also on blogs and forums and stuff, as in:

mood: sulky
bgm: Kraftwerk

which I kind of like.

it's also the name of a yellow magic orchestra album, and looked it up on the wikipedia to find this:

BGM is the fourth album by Yellow Magic Orchestra. The title stands for "background music", though promotional material indicated that it could also mean "Beautiful Grotesque Music".

i appreciate the choice of kraftwerk in your example.
