Attached is your official artwork, beyotches. Also, thanks, BYT! (I kind of hear PYT by McCartney / Jackson whenever you post which I think is a hat you can wear)

nice work J$.
just skimming through the lyrics i like how happy, optimistic and sunny it is.
Here's to looking towards the future, and possibly the ceiling of your local therapist.

Ha, ha, yes I am brimming with happiness and confidence as usual. Though it should be all listened to with an arched eyebrow in mind

That particular song was written and recorded in under two hours... as were most of the track on that album. Thanks for the compliment!

Re: Songfighter Album-a-day Thread
Not a new AAD, but the next best thing - remixed and re-mastered, "Could'a Been An Outsider", the best of the Tiny Paws of Fury, 2004-2005. Including tracks from "The Noble Art of the Knob Gag", " Jon Eric's "Marathon Songs", tartpop's "The One" Challenge, and "You Only Have Yourself To Blame." 20 songs in 39 minutes. Absolutely NSF your life. Probably "parental advisory" (whatever that crap means).
Many thanks to The Voice Inside Your Head for the tuba on track 9. Also massive, massive love and thanks to Starfinger for hosting my first two AADs without neccessarily realising what he was signing up for.
Pops and clicks due to 2004. Who loved 2004? Bad singing artist's own. Also fuck you and all you sail in! *kiss kiss*

I've done five AADs in the past couple of years. Unfortunately I found out about the project after they stopped updating the website. Luckily I've found you guys. Only the last three are really worth listening to, so here they are, in order of oldest to newest:

Re: Songfighter Album-a-day Thread
Johnny Cashpoint presents The Old Third Division for your listening pleasure.
Wizard's Sleeve Notes: This was recorded back in August (25th or 26th, as best as I can tell) as the 'third side' of my "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover' 50/90 album, but here it is in its correct order, with two tracks restored that didn't fit the premise at the time, and one track with the guitars and backing vocals restored (as they were nowhere near as bad as I thought they were at the time). Usual j$ stuff - two 'sides' of 8 'songs, a mixture of singing and talkin' over music, electronica meets fairground guitar pop, lots of UK-centric references. Under the influence of The Sleaford Mods, Ivor Cutler and pop versions of the Clash & Elton John. It's really rather lovely
The title is a football pun - this is "side 3" of "50 Ways" and teams in the 3rd Division were a bit crap. Shortest track 6 seconds, longest track 2.37 - Oh yeah, some songs full of swears so NSFW. 27 minutes and 42 seconds of your time. Have at it. Kiss kiss - j$

Re: Songfighter Album-a-day Thread
Mister Johnny Cashpoint presents I’ve Had More Exciting Sundays for your listening pleasure.
Wizard’s Sleeve Notes: An Album-in-a-Day recorded on Sunday 22nd February, 2015 as due to inherent laziness, I had not yet completed a single song for FAWM'15 and there was only a week to the deadline. Total writing & recording time - just under 12 hours. Mixed and mastered 23rd/24th February. In the interests of honesty - the words for track one were written in January as ‘Battle Cry’ but not recorded. Track Two was a lyric I wrote for the Armageddon Machines’ SF entry and then re-used to a tune of my own creation. 25 minutes and 42 seconds of your time.
STREAM ALL
You can find the words on my FAWM page.

Did another of these as my blues alter ego Sugar Johnson back on the last day of FAWM. It's a shit attempt at AAD, really. One take G&G and some "full band" recordings using the Trio pedal that adds drums and bass to your music. But it's

Re: Songfighter Album-a-day Thread
Somewhere between the Album in a Day and the Album in a Week, I made an album in a weekend. It's weird and offputting in some parts. Pretty in others. It was an experiment I made for me. I'm sharing it with you.
