Count me and the wife in for the Met as well.inevitableguy wrote:I could make it at 9:30 - but we need to keep in mind that the latest info from Niveous says that we're playing at 3PM on Saturday - so we'd have to move pretty quickly.
Also, to alleviate any confusion - the rehearsal space that I booked is for Friday afternoon, not Saturday.

Re: SF! Live 2011: Stuff to do in NYC
I'll be in town from late Wednesday afternoon on. So, if anyone's up for doing anything a little earlier in the week, let me know.
I haven't been to New York in a little over 20 years, so there are a few things you can count on:
1. I'm going to want to eat a lot.
2. I won't have the slightest clue where to go.
3. I will be making extensive use of the subway system - Google maps better not steer me wrong.
4. I may also need a moment for a panic attack.
I can't believe this is just a few days away!

inevitableguy and I are going to Barcade tonight. For anyone else who likes video games and/or drinking and/or drunken video games, THIS IS THE SPOT. I think we're planning on being there at around 7:30ish.

Since I'm now arriving tonight, late. I'll be rehearsing tomorrow, and are we still on for the Met on Saturday?

Awesome! Instruments may be scarce for rehearsal, so please bring what you can. (The room has amps, so we just need the guitars.)roymond wrote:Since I'm now arriving tonight, late. I'll be rehearsing tomorrow, and are we still on for the Met on Saturday?
Also, yes to the Met on Saturday.

Hey sports fans,
Any ideas about where we should meet tomorrow night? I figured we'll all make our way to Yankee Stadium and just find each other, but it's a big place. You can text or call me once you get there and we'll figured it out.
Frank

Tomorrow morning, who's coming out at 9:30 to the Met Museum (5th ave at ~84th st)? I'll be there with my kids. We have to leave around 11 to pick up the rental car for SF Live. My kids love playing tour guides at the Met.

I am!
Also I assume we'll be able to get back to our hotel before the show so I don't have to carry Fred and such to the Met.
