Themesong Fight 2011

Post by fluffy »

Lately I've been reminiscing about just how much fun the first two Theme Song Fights were (does anyone know what happened to the other one?). I've never run a sidefight before so I guess I'm way overdue.

Post here if you're interested, and I'll assign everyone to randomly write a theme song for another fighter. Signups close, say, August 8 or when we hit 10 people (whichever comes later), and then you'll have, say, one month to write and record your theme song for that person.

Also, if you have any specific requests or biographical information that you think would help, PM me with it and I'll pass it along to whomever is assigned to songify you.

This sounds fun. :D

I hope I can get it done with Circle of Titles in the works and trying to get a song done each week for the main SF fights.

Wow, I had no idea that this had happened twice. I still remember most of "The Starfinger Show," which Jim of Seattle did for Starfinger in the first Theme Song fight. I remember I sat out, but did sort of a stealth entry by recording "Fundamental Pie," a theme song for unfunny.

Maybe I'll join up for this one.

Yeah, I specifically timed things around Circle of Titles. It sucks having multiple sidefights happening at once.

I remember we had like two solid years completely booked up where you couldn't start a new sidefight if you wanted to.

There's a bit more breathing room now.

I would, but I don't want to commit and flake out. Next time, because this sounds really fun... Mostly, I want to hear my theme song.

What would make you not flake out next time? Can that be applied to this time?

Only if I draw Billys Little Trip. Because I have already written and recorded it and will expose in a few days

So...no - not really.

Theme songs are a bit gay (BLT's certainly is)

Sorry, guys, I feel a musical burnout period coming on. I better withdraw from this, lest I disappoint someone.
