My Heart Beats for This (Prefight)
You Are the Heartbeat of This Office For Sure

So, I'm seriously considering recording this the same way i perform live. Improved with just my voice and loop pedal.
Also, I hope it's okay that I made this thread

It's Office-ally okay.
Yathotofs: Bride of Cthulu.
I'm wondering if I should do an honest-to-goodness, down-to-earth, no-messing-about song for this one. Probably depends on whether I can sing though.

Do you mean Improved or Improvised? Either way, sounds good.Who Izzy wrote:Improved with just my voice and loop pedal.

You could always collaborate with someone. That's my solution.Kapitano wrote:I'm wondering if I should do an honest-to-goodness, down-to-earth, no-messing-about song for this one. Probably depends on whether I can sing though.
Normally, I very much dislike long, clunky titles like this; they seem simultaneously limiting and vague. But, like the Circle of Titles prompt I received, inspiration seems to have struck nonetheless. Well, I have a concept and some lyrics. Will have to hunt for a melody.

Funny, I was just watching a whole bunch of reggie watts at work yesterday, and thinking I need to try that sometime. It'd be a great reason to justify my G.A.S. & get that Line 6 looper I've always wanted. Is there seriously not a way to do that kind of thing in Reason?Who_Izzy wrote:

Man, I just did a song for Spintunes that would have fit this title.
I guess I'll try a different approach to it.

I have the same Line 6 pedal he has, though there are others.
There's a program you can download if you're running windows called Mobius, though I've had trouble with it. There's a different program for Linux and Mac.

Just for that, I'm going to offer the MC a collaboration.jb wrote:Having listened to MC Who Izzy's entry for "Circle Me", I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you here Kapitano.
MC Who Izzy, would you like a collaboration on this fight? You do the vocals, send them to me and I put some music and production stuff behind them. Right now I'm working on synthesising African drums and enormous lush strings, plucked and bowed - so they'll probably end up in the mix.
What you think?

Yup. Check your messages. Congratulations, you just got promoted to FBI negotiator.lalabrookie wrote:You are the heartbeat of this office for sure? Good.Lord. Uh...Noah, you're writing this one, correct? I can just sing again?
So, is this shaping up to be a collab fight? Kapitano and Who Izzy, Juliette Echo, more Billy and the Psychotics (I'm always hoping)? Who else is jumping on the collab bandwagon?

Ujn and I will be shrugging off our usual synthpop jackets and donning our blistering, brutal hardcore pants. But I think it's been years since either one of us has entered without a collab, so... dunno if that counts.nyjm wrote:lalabrookie wrote:Who else is jumping on the collab bandwagon?
