I just signed with a new show that should wrap end of July, so August would be excellent for me. Plus my roomate (whom several of you met at Songfight Presents L.A. last year) is from just outside of Boston, so hopefully I can talk him into making the trip too. Word up.

The wedding I have to go to is the weekend after, which basically guarantees I'll be around. This is gonna fuckin rock.

As for accommodations, I may be able to host at least one person/couple, depending on the roommate situation. But it is possible to stay in this city for free, if you don't mind sleeping on a rooftop and using little-known "public" showers...

Not being a native of your fair land - there is only one thing I associate the name 'Boston' with - a horrible record my brother brought home when I was about 10 years old.

I vote for More Than a Feeling.

Also, I plan on attending. (Incidentally, I believe Tom does as well.) I will play drums for you if you want/need.

Boston, August, 2 nights, sounds good. Wicked good. (I'm from New England, too, I swear!)

What I found amusing was that somebody chiming in as a self-appointed expert on the works of Boston and/or Europe could have the temerity to label anyone else 'dorks'!

I'm with you. My future is quite uncertain and unclear, but I prefer to think of it as mysterious instead.

What I like is that the last two years it has been west and further west...now we're bringing it back east..I may be moving out west. Go figure. I'm betting next year it will be like somewhere south. However, this is not to be mistaken as complaints...I totally dig getting far away from whatever grind I'm in.

I'm perhaps interested in going a bit crazy and coming along for this. I ain't got no holiday booked for this year yet so I'm thinking maybe take in the best that Boston has to offer. Actually getting there looks like it will cost me a not insignificant £570 but a price I'm willing to pay for a couple of days of top notch entertainment. Anyone want to play host for me and provide a band to play a couple of my ditties??!!

I think you will see that we will be pressed for time as it is. I think you should feel free to cover another songfight song in your set, but I doubt there will be time for a separate coverfight.

Be well,
