Also Jonathan Mann is a song-fighter, see Jonathan Mann, 40 Second Songs, etc.

I watched, dad!
I think I get the optional challenge, but this part, "so that your song could be pieced together with others to form a new version of the soundtrack to the video", is where I need it explained better.
1. So your song can be pieced together with other sf member's songs?
So here is how I interpret the challenge:
Everyone make (or don't make) a song(s) about the exercises in JM's vid so that after the fight, someone can edit all of the songs in the fight together to go along with JM's vid instead of JM's soundtrack that is presently in the vid.
Does that sound about right?

I am trying to think of another way to spin that title. That is one tough phrase to work with!
I guess you weren't trying to make it easy on us were ya?

Also, the perfect jumping jacks song is "Burn Hollywood Burn" in case you were wondering. Although I will confess that the part at the end with all the chit chat is hard.

Re: Are you Mann enough? (prefight)
I'm assuming anyone entering a song in this fight is required to send in a photo of themselves striking the side plank pose just like Jonathan Mann in the video for the cover collage. Isn't that right?anti-m wrote:Dear god, side plank.

If you poo-ed in the woods like that, it would go absolutely everywhere!
I don't think I can come up with anything that isn't absolutely filfthy. I just see a balding man in orange shorts simulating receiving anal sex in various positions from the invisible man. For eight minutes.
And outside the video, or doing a song about either a band of nerdy superheroes or nerdy cowboys saving a village, I can't see any twist on the title outside of the optional challenge.

I'd just like the record show that I'm not the one that said this.j$ wrote:I just see a balding man in orange shorts simulating receiving anal sex in various positions from the invisible man. For eight minutes.

I...I...I just can't of anything I could say that could top this.
Re: Are you Mann enough? (prefight)
I just check the page - wtf? So, do we pick a movement, and write about it in it's bpm?
Ironically, the thing I started today is a dreamy 85bpm - I could do the wall chair. Comforting lyrics from Ikea.
