Back in nineteen hundred and three
there was a place where a lady sat and drank tea
with a little brandy, pinky out like fancy,
after she murdered 50 kids her mom and granny.

Afterwards she threw herself into the Red Sea.
Her body bound to her house to live for eternity.
Dancing, prancing, eating candy. Dandy.
Man! I gotta get up there to see that Banshee!



A hundred years later it is rainy and cold.
I got a video recording camera on my phone.
I'm going in alone hoping there is someone home
as I see the house at the end of the dirt road.

I can see the wood covering up the windows.
Second floor has holes where the kids had threw stones.
In the back of my mind I hear screams and moans
of the people had their soul separated from their bones.

I turn my camera on and raise it up to my face.
I recite a little script that begins with my name
and I say where I am and let them know why I came.
The Banshee is mine. I'm gonna figure out her game!

I'm gonna make her smile all the while shes on tape.
Proving she exists will bring me fortune and fame.
I get to the door about a quarter to eight at night
with a plan to make it to the morning light.



Sunset out but inside darker than black.
The first board I step on creaks with a loud crack.
I let my eyes adapt. I adjust my backpack.
I yell "hello" but words dont come back.

I light the darkness with a glow stick. *Snap*
Green light illuminates the room. A gray slab
of an altar with a knife that is ready to stab
laying next to an ancient Yankees cap.

I hear noises coming from the top of the stairs.
I turn around to go but stub my toe on a chair
that wasn't there before. Appeared out of thin air.
They try'na stop me. I let it go; I dont care.

Up the stairs in two steps letting out a Rick Flair.
WOOOO!! Into the darkness I stare.
Piercing through the black of night is a small ray of light.
So, I follow where it goes and hear a clock chime nine.


Shhhhh.... *thump thump. thump thump*


All the lights go out. I stumble, tumble and fall.
I can't see the fingernails, feel them grip and they claw.
The hands cold as ice and its freezing my balls.
It really hurts, got me headbutting holes in the wall.

A swirl of mist or dust, I don't know, it just falls.
A pair of red eyes form the face of a doll.
I don't know what to say. I stammer, stutter, and stall.
I stand tall with my camera out. Got it all.

My mouth still open. I am standing there dumb.
A thousand voices fill the hall. Don't know where they come from.
I can hear the dead come. Turning up the "redrum".
Don't see I dropped the phone. I wonder what I've become.

The apparition wearing white is floating in front of me.
I'm telling her she's gorgeous as her head hits her knee.
Her mouth opens in a scream. It's a pretty melody.
She takes me into her arms and I am in ecstasy.

Now I'm loving the fruit of the poisonous tree.
I'm unlocking her secrets with my skeleton key.
Her body is cold. I'm at the highest degree.
The Banshee and me and our baby makes three!
