Honorable mention to Sexual Healing, How Sweet It Is, and What's Going On?

My favorite is Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)

"What's Going On" the album. Wonderful. Can't pick a song off that which doesn't sound even better in its context.

Every song mentioned so far ties for my first pick. Cheap & too convenient but true.

Did anyone else think it was ridiculous that Marvin Gaye's family successfully sued Robin Thicke over that "Blurred Lines" song? That's like Weird Al getting sued for a style parody. Or like practically any pop/rock/blues/country/rap group getting sued by an earlier band of the same genre.

In other words, fuck Marvin Gaye's family. If he wasn't already gettin' it on in the grave, he'd be rolling over now. Great artist though.
