Snowpatrol anyone?

Post by Verbatim »

I was just wondering if anyone else liked this band besides me. I bought the album I think back in August. VH1 started playing the video for Run more recently. I really didn't get as much into that song as I did Spitting Games or the title track Final Straw. :D So yeah just wondering if anyone else out there was into them. Thanks :)

sorry, I tried to like these guys but ultimately found they kind of sucked. I found it stale.

I tried, I really did.

For me, they are the even less harmless Coldplay, without the twists that make Coldplay interesting. There are bits of all that's cool on the Brit indie pop scene but it doesn't gel. Sorry to be down on a band you like, they're ok just nothing more than that.

i haven't heard this newest song, other than the single, but i enjoyed the album 'when it's all over we still have to clear up' that they released a few years back.

I got their CD at Target for cheap after a friend recommended it. I didn't think it was all that great, but lately can't get enough of the production. If you like the songwriting, you should check out the Reindeer Section. It is the same singer/songwriter with an all-star indie collab group.
