Why is it Katamari themed? (Not that I'm complaining)

The King of All Cosmos says 'Yes' as the answer to all your questions. Although he wishes you had tried a little harder. And made more of the color scheme. And it's a little bit on the small side. Still, we'll make do.

This time.

As a special treat, since I'm awake in the middle of the night on my birthday listening to the torrential rain, here's an alternate version of our song with the original melody and the lyrics that The Beatles SHOULD have used, if they ever wanted to be taken seriously and / or if they got super into memes, 50 years too early.

Credit where credit's due--lyrics are based on this series of tweets. ("Blame" might be a better word than "credit")

Anyway, if you were having trouble hearing "Eleanor Rigby" in the instrumental, this might help :)

Haha, thanks? This Paul McCartney guy wrote some pretty good melodies, I guess.

(I wonder who the dog next door in "You Too" is?)

Yeah, he did okay. :)

I am thinking it is more than one dog. I think someone let those dogs out.

Scooby and Scrappy?
Well, let's look at some of the information surrounding your theory.

Timeline:

1. The original Scooby Doo cartoon came out in 1969
2. Scrappy Doo was introduced about a decade later in 1979.
3. A Pup Named Scooby-Doo debuted in 1988 about a decade later. This seems to indicate a new major happening around once per decade.
4. Nothing major seemed to happen with Scooby Doo in 1999, breaking the pattern of new things happening around once per decade. It may be worth noting that the dogs were let out around that time.
5. The live action Scooby-Doo film did come out a couple of years later in 2002.

The dogs can speak, and are anthropomorphic, but they also know what it is like to be dogs. The Mystery Gang have a magnificent track record of solving mysteries, yet this particular mystery has not been resolved yet, despite seeming like a case that would be of significant interest to them. Furthermore, Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo seem perfectly capable of letting the dogs out. I have not noticed them opening doors or unlocking cages, but it seems like something they could do.

Also: 1969... Scooby Doo is at least 50 years old in human years? That's like 350 in dog years! Do dogs typically live this long? Something is fishy here.

While I have seen no evidence that they did it, I believe you may be on to something, Mo. They certainly had the motive. They have solved enough mysteries to know how to cover their tracks. Perhaps the Mike Tyson Mysteries team should be hired to solve this.

Congrats to Vowl and Agony but seriously congrats to everyone. The entries have been incredible this year and I can't wait for the finals.

Now, time to figure out how this Ohne Ruhm thing works.

Congrats to all the Nur Einers for making fantastic music these few weeks; this competition is a slog and everyone really came through week after week, making songs that a lot of us will still listen to. Congrats also to the judges for making it so far. Just one more week to go!

Ready yourselves for a seven minute tour de force guitar solo track over a one chord vamp. Nothing could be more exciting.
