I might be in. I started a track and got the vocals, piano, bass, and drum programming in with a plan that I was going to layer a lot of guitars, and then I went and cut my index finger pretty badly last night. I may rearrange or try to find a way around it.

So, House Arrest ... I thought I'd turn the phrase inside out and imagine that it was actually the house being arrested for crimes against its occupants. So I've written about the dark side of renting, unscrupulous landlords, and the economic inequalities that meant that money gets taken from one person and given to another because the other person had more money to begin with.

And musically I'm copying the wonderful Dead Kennedys track 'Nazi Punks' which seems particularly topical right now.

I haven't actually submitted my file, but I've now made enough progress to state with confidence that I'll be in. It's just a question of how much time I'll get to clean up the performances and mix now.
