I managed to spend one once, and then the thing I bought ended up becoming part of a future Komplete upgrade.

Arturia is offering a new version of a bundle of their software effects plugins, "Arturia FX Collection 2". They're generally modelling classic effects hardware, and the collection contains mixing bus effects, modulation effects, compressors, delays, reverbs, preamps, and filters. I've been using their Rev Plate-140 plate reverb on everything for a while, and that's included. It's on sale now for $299 but if you're already an Arturia customer, you may be able to get it for $99. Deal lasts one more week.

https://www.arturia.com/products/softwa ... verview#en
https://www.arturia.com/products/softwa ... details#en

I have their software instrument collection and I think it's pretty amazing, both in terms of quality and breadth of instruments and depth of features.

If you do a crapton of doubling and/or re-aligning takes that are out of rhythm or out of tune, and you're willing to throw money at the problem... Revoice Pro 4 is currently 40% off (€459 -> €279). (It can do regular pitch correction, too, but its strengths are in transferring the timing and/or pitch/inflection from one track to another.) The trimmed down VocAlign is not on sale which is actually making Revoice Pro the cheaper option right now.

https://www.synchroarts.com/products/re ... o/overview

PS. it's a standalone application but it supports ARA2, VST3, AAX and AU for exchanging audio data with DAWs.

Today's deal on Musician's Friend is a vocal microphone shield for $49 ($60 off):

https://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-aud ... 1000000000

If you don't have something like this, and this deal puts it in your budget, you might consider it for helping to clean up some of the room noise in your vocals. It won't completely get rid of them but it will probably make an audible improvement.

I got one of those during a previous Stupid Deal. I highly recommend it. Made a huge difference when I was stuck recording in my tiny office room, and it also improves recording in my mostly-acoustically-dead basement somewhat.

It's also one of those things the MF SDotD seems to cycle in regularly.

Today's stupid deal is an Epiphone ES-335 Traditional Pro in "Metallic Gold" for 25% off, down to $450 from $600. If you've been looking for a solid budget guitar that's very versatile with a range of good tones, this seems like a really good value. If the discount puts it into your budget, you should check it out.

Today's stupid deal is a Studio Trends 46" Studio Desk With Dual 4 RU Racks Maple for half off, $200 instead of $400, which seems pretty cheap for a probably decent studio desk.

I could, but I think the desk I'm building will be better for my needs anyway. The one on SDotD doesn't have any way for me to attach my ergonomic keyboard tray, for example.

SamplesFromHell has their 727 drum machine sample kit "for free" (aka you have to give them your email address and they will undoubtedly spam you) today only:

https://samplesfrommars.com/collections ... -from-mars

Lots of other stuff is on sale too. You can get their SH-101 VSTi sample set for $5, and their LinnDrum VSTi sample set for $9, for example.

If you somehow STILL don't have a large diaphragm condenser microphone, you really ought to get one. Your vocals will probably sound a lot better vs a dynamic mic (although those can be fine in some situations) and definitely better than if you're using the mic built in to your phone or laptop or headset etc. Here's a probably decent mic for $60, discounted from $200 just for today.

https://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid

You'll need to make sure you've got an audio interface with phantom power (or a mic preamp/mixer/hardware recorder/etc. with phantom power). Nearly every interface will have that, if it has an XLR/mic input.
