Sadly, I am out already. Was hoping to work around our early June vacation but now a long Memorial Day weekend opportunity has popped up so I can’t swing it, unfortunately.

Have fun everybody! Next year for sure…

Yeah, same. I was gonna try and enter but a) after Spintunes I have other stuff I need to get to that doesn't involve devoting my minimal free time to songwriting but more importantly b) I'm not that inspired, because otherwise I'd do it regardless of A.

Round zero doesn't genereally have album art but send it anyway.

I'd like to point out that LWRG already wrote this song when it was called Good Luck Charm.

I have decided to enter as Virgo Power. Song is written and about to be recorded.

Welp, after perusing the lyrics for this round I see I had basically the same exact idea as everyone else! Huzzah, originality!

Draft submitted for safety as I have to drive to Jersey and back soon.

I've had some close calls with deadlines before, but this was the closest I've ever cut it. Half an hour ago, I didn't have verse lyrics.

But, I submitted a "safety" mix with two minutes to spare, and a really quick-and-dirty mastering attempt just a couple minutes past the deadline. Not sure which is going to be posted, but I am in.

Damn, dude! And here I thought I was cutting it close. I started rerecording my song from the ground up at 11:05, did a super quick mix at like 11:40, a last minute master (via Bandlab) and sent in my final final version at 11:55. I was still biting my nails as I raced downstairs to badger Nivs about whether he got it

FYI when I try to play Nick Soma's song on the Web site it plays the Night Sky song instead.

Thanks!

I seem to have been the only person who wrote a song based on spending way too much time reading the plot summaries of every "Friday the 13th" movie on Wikipedia.

Sam coming strong out the gate! My favorites were Moss Palace and the Lunkhead solo song. I also really enjoyed Vom Vorton and Mandibles.

Hopefully I'll find time this week to post some more in-depth reviews, but just wanted to get my initial thoughts out there for you guys. The game is afoot!
