Two years ago the requirement was the video had a "live" performance element to it. Some entries were closer to a live take and others less so, but it was the spirit that mattered.
And the videos were debuted on a live stream, with voting happening in real time in that same live stream. Just sayin'.

So we have a submission deadline date. Is there a date announced yet for the actual SFL Online stream?

How about October 8? That would work the best with my work schedule and give me plenty of time to get the video together.

I have been waiting for a date to see if I would offer to host the live fight, and October 8 is not a good date for me. I am at a conference. The following week (and weekend), I am also out of town (in D.C.- Hello JB!), so it looks like I may have to take a pass this year. I will however, continue to promote the idea that there should be a live aspect to the live fight.

Yeah, has the actual date of the event been announced yet? I feel like I have not seen that.

8 October is probably the only date that works for me unless we want to wait until November. My work schedule is crazy (and will remain so for a few more months). I would say the following weekend but I'm taking my kids to cub scout camp!

So unless we have any significant objections, premiere will be

8 OCTOBER 2022 at 9 PM EDT

but since this is international

Aye, I sent an email on September 5th with the links to three videos. No DM here on the site, though. I can do that if you would rather.

I tossed the video and mp3's up on Google drive for you to grab.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
I think some of the mp3 in a folder do not have any video with them, (I know I just used Paco's for the LPs) so feel free to add as you see fit!
There are also some .jpgs of The Rockening cards to use as elements.

A little extra editing time would do wonders for my video. I'll try my best to submit tomorrow, but am I S.O.L. if it's not ready until Sunday?

According to a response via Discord, a day or so late is probably fine.

Video and set list submitted! (Although apparently google drive is still processing the video, so hopefully that gets sorted in about two seconds.)

Deadline update:

I'm intending to start editing everything together starting tomorrow night. I would go ahead and get a move on tonight, but I have one more midnight shift...my day job is river forecasting and have you seen Florida lately?

So far I've received performances from 5 people + my own. I've also received one music video. I've been told to except incoming videos from a few more.

Obviously I need time to stitch everything together, and since I'm hosting I want to have time to make sure everybody's audio is nice and evenly matched. A day or two late is fine but hurry up with it if you're still not done! I'm a shift worker with three young kids - two of them under five -- so dropping stuff on me at the last moment does not guarantee that I will be able to include your video in the broadcast.

Thank you for your submissions and making SF Live 2022 another treat!

Hey Sleep Silver,

Thanks for doing this!
I have 4 live videos in the works, 3 BSS and one Faster Jackalope. I'm a night shift guy, so I'll be up all night. I'll send them to you one at a time. I won't make midnight tonight. I guess it's already midnight in Georgia. I'll get them as soon as I can. Working on them now.

Thanks
