We have 20 (!) acts, plus the live fight. Emails were sent out separately to sign up for rehearsal space on each day. Plus, an email full of delicious details also went out. If you didn't get either or both, check yer spam?
Kicking off the conversation in hopes we resume gathering in person for SFL. We (me and @jefff) are offering Denver, Colorado, but if someone else was really hoping to host, this is the spot for that big reveal

I sorely miss IRL Song Fight! Live so if it were to happen, I would be thrilled. While I would love to host it here, I'm really not confident in my ability to actually get a venue booked, so I can only offer at best a backup plan in case nobody else has solid leads. So however it might happen would be fine with me. I would love to see folks again and play music together. Y'all were fantastic hosts in 2018 so if you're willing to host again that sounds amazing. And of course we'd love to visit you and Jeff and G. If you wind up hosting please let me know whatever I can do to help out.
I miss Song Fight! Live being actually live, as well, and having missed the 2018 installment I'd love another shot at doing it in Denver, a city I haven't been to in around 25 years.
Also, I would love to host here in Seattle again some time in the next few years, having made connections with numerous venues since I joined The Jaydogs.
The wife wants to go back to Denver so I'm confident in saying that she'll make me go whether I want to or not. Luckily, I want to. (Barring scheduling conflicts.)

Hey nice cover of Ripple by the Jaydogs! I never pegged you as an old Deadhead but you look the part!
I doubt late May and early June is a likely time, but I'd prefer to avoid that time. We're expecting our first grandchild around that time. There are also a couple of other weekends but I have no idea when they are. I'll have to check with the wife.
If we're going to mention summer plans, so far we've got tickets for Khruangbin August 19th and I hope to go to Portland for the final XOXO Fest ever August 22nd-24th.
Summers are now dodgy for me for as long as I'm lucky enough to keep these cruise ship gigs (laugh if you want, I'm cashing checks). Maybe I can set up a Portland, ME SFL at some point.
Who all is interested in an online version like we've done the past few years? While I'd love to visit Colorado, it's just not gonna happen! Family obligations, etc.
I'm willing to host if we're gonna keep that tradition going

I think having both IRL and online Song Fight Lives would be great, if there are volunteers for hosting both. While I hugely miss the IRL events I've also very much enjoyed the online events for how they've allowed so many more folks to participate, and a lot of the videos folks have made have been amazing.
If they happened at the same time, it would fun to have a group, in person, watch party on a big screen with great sound.
Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff - Berkeley Social Scene - Tiny Robots - Seamus Collective - Semolina Pilchards - Cutie Pies - Explino! - Bravo Bros. - 2 from 14 - and more!
i would just like to remind everyone that Ken eats kittens - blue lang
Yeah! On the other hand, it might be more difficult for folks attending the IRL event to get videos submitted for the online event if they happen at the same time.
