Native Instruments is doing 50% off on almost all products (both new licenses and updates/upgrades unlike in previous years where only updates/upgrades were discounted): https://www.native-instruments.com/en/s ... ound-2023/
That means:

KOMPLETE 14 new license:
Select: $99
Standard: $199
Ultimate: $599
Ultimate CE: $899
Updates/upgrades cheaper obviously.

Also on sale: KONTAKT 7 and various instruments/effects; TRAKTOR PRO 3; MASCHINE hardware; KOMPLETE KONTROL hardware; KOMPLETE AUDIO hardware
Since iZotope has joined NI, the same goes for basically all of their products.

KV331 Audio's SynthMaster 2 is currently 78% off - $29 instead of $129. If you want to do some fairly involved synth tinkering but not drop a lot of money on something like Omnisphere, HALion, Reaktor, Falcon or some such, you could do a lot worse than this. Sale ends tomorrow.

I think I might be able to get it for $19 (upgrade from SynthMaster One), but since I don't think I've ever even used SynthMaster One... I wonder if I should do this... hahaha. Is this the full fledged version? I guess I should research this... eh?

Edit: Welp, I bought it... except even though I was logged into the website with my user account, they decided that they'd create a new user account based on my Paypal email address... so I've got to wait for support to fix my license issue before I can try it out as all of my other content is tied to my account (obvs). I hate when (I assume) Paypal does this, though I suppose it's on the websites themselves to not automatically use the Paypal email address when a user is signed into their account with a different email address. Bleh.

If you haven't picked it up already, UAD is offering a their LA2A for free. I love this compressor and it is my go to for vocals.

https://www.uaudio.com/uad-plugins/comp ... essor.html

Once you have that, you can upgrade to a whole suite of their plugins for $50:
https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... FREE-LA-2A

Totally worth it.

BFD3 is once again at its cheapest: $49 (regular >$300). Also all expansions are on sale, up to 75% off (but most more like 50%).
https://www.kvraudio.com/marketplace/de ... t-discount or via the BFD website, https://bfddrums.com/ (check both places, not everything is cheaper in the same place. In particular, Dark Farm and 8 Bit Kit are much cheaper on the official website.)

If you still don't have a pair of studio monitors, or you want a second pair, or you need some powered speakers for a stereo system, today's Stupid Deal of the Day is Mackie CR3-X 3" powered studio monitors for $50. I have a pair of these and have been surprised by how good they sound. Certainly better than $50 monitors should.

Today's stupid deal is a compact one-button looping pedal for $50, which looked to me to be possibly the cheapest brand-new looping pedal around for the moment (although I didn't check Amazon to compare to Chinese brand pedals).

Auto-Tune is currently 50% off (all editions). This is a pretty rare deal, I think.
https://www.antarestech.com/
AFAIK this deal runs until 9 Jun.

Native Instruments have started their usual summer sale with 50% off KOMPLETE (including updates/upgrades, however keep in mind that buying an update/upgrade from 8 to 14 costs the same as an update/upgrade from 13 to 14, so unless you have a particularly strong case of GAS you can skip a few major versions each time and wait for the next summer sale) and a few other things.

Coupon (EU only) for an extra €50 off if you spend €200 or more: SUMMER24_EUR (but maybe SUMMER24_USD works too? Who knows?)

https://www.native-instruments.com/en/s ... ound-2024/
Since iZotope is part of NI now, they're part of this promotion too, with ~50% off some of the bundles and Nectar, Neutron, Ozone and RX:

AFAIK this deal runs until 9 Jul.

Universal Audio is having a sale on plugins for the next week, including "native" plugins (ones that don't require UAD hardware). I bought this essentials bundle on sale last year some time and it's got lots of great stuff (Pultec EQs, LA-2A levelers, tape space echo, plate reverb, tape saturation, and a nice sounding polyphonic emulated analog synth) for only $49.

https://www.uaudio.com/uad-plugins/plug ... ition.html

And then there is this 1176 limiter collection which I also got in a previous sale and have been using and think is really great:

https://www.uaudio.com/uad-plugins/comp ... ction.html

The Pultecs and the LA-2A and the 1176 are NOT transparent and add some tasty tone and texture.

I don't have this plugin but it seems like a potentially cool bundle if you want to try to make your songs sound like ones produced in a legendary studio:

Today's stupid deal is a Warm Audio mic boom arm that clamps onto your desk/table. It's been marked down $90!! Now only $29! I think that's pretty cheap for a decent quality mic boom arm. These are great for podcasters but also for musicians who want to just record their vocals sitting at their desk, rather than standing at a full on mic stand.

You know, I skipped right over it... because I don't have a "flat" part to clamp to... but now that you've had me take a second look... I can see that the Clamp section screws off, so perhaps I can screw it to a "Mic Stand" style Clamp (i.e. one that goes around a round pole instead of a flat board). Might take that chance... thanks for posting here to give me another chance at life. ;)

Ha, always happy to egg people on to buy more stuff. I caved and bought one. I figured it's so cheap, even if I only use it once in a while, it'll be worth it, and it ought to be easy to fold up and shove in my closet when I'm not using it...

I'm tempted but the reviews on it are pretty dismal. It'd still be a nicer setup for my desk mic though.

Yeah. I was almost put off by that too... but it's hard to put TOO much stock into 3-5 bad reviews on like 3-5 different websites when they have barely ANY reviews total... so... yes, the few people actually leaving a review had an issue... and assuming they bought them for more than $29 ($119 was MSRP), even if it worked... it's possible to have a "bad experience" for the $$$. Guess we'll find out soon enough!

Mine arrived today. It's in a really tall/long package. I had assumed since it's got a hinge in the middle it would be shipped folded up, but no, it's fully extended in a long skinny box, which was packed into a wide longer box with packaging material. Sadly at this point I'm going to be too busy the next couple days to even unpack the stand and try it out. I'll have to report back this weekend.

Yeah, mine arrived too. I'm struggling to figure out how I want to actually set it up in my studio, and the spring on it is suuuuuuuper firm.
