There have been some really good SDotD deals on Squiers recently. This one was tempting, but I played one of these in a store and didn't love the neck. I'm also trying to buy less Squiers and more Gibsons.
I had a Squier Strat from about 1996 (which was used for all of my SF entries that had a guitar in them) until I sold it sometime in the late 00's. I hated that thing, especially the feel of the neck. I think it turned me off the idea of playing guitar in general. I may acquire another guitar some day in the future but it will not be a Squier Strat.

I would say that this neck is probably more troublesome than most, ie, the least like a gibson you can find (as a random comparison.) Again, it fits me perfectly, so probably not to everyone's (most anyone else's?) taste.
