The 21st Edition of the Nur Ein Songwriting Contest is a go!

Round Zero begins now.

Song title: "Greetings, Traveler"

Challenge: Song must contain jungle sounds or a Tarzan yell.

Create a new original song from the prompt by May 24th at 11:59 PM Eastern.

this is how my brain helpfully tried to come up with an idea:

I started singing "Greetings, Traveler!" to the tune of "Hello, Dolly!"

That song was rad (I'm pretty sure I've heard it before...), but... 6:10?! I know I'm biased towards like 2-3min songs... but Tarzan Boy isn't prog worthy track length... jeez.

welp, I have submitted a safety version, because I have to go to my THIRTIETH COLLEGE REUNION this weekend and I don't know if I'll have time to do a better one! the best thing I can say about it is, it meets the requirements.

Anyway, if anyone would like to manage their bands' pages, please login to the site and message me either here or there.

A band is NOT a user (account) is NOT a person on the site. So please just login with your normal Gmail and we'll straighten things out. If you want your name to be different or the same from your band, it's all good.

In case anybody else, like me, hadn't noticed, there are comment threads on the pages for the rounds on the Nur Ein site now, and apparently judges may post reviews there only and not here on the boards. So don't take lack of reviews posted to the boards as lack of reviews, cause maybe they're just somewhere else.
