We saw it so you wouldn't have to. Amazingly worse than the first, which was atrocious to begin with. If you don't have the money for special effects, don't try to pull them off anyway. Looked like videogame cut scenes from 1996. Saved from an F by many moments of unintentional humor. D-

Thanks. The previews (and conspicuous absence of Vin) made me think this sequel would be an improvement. You've done me a great service.

It *is* possible to enjoy this film. Just not by taking it seriously.

Do you guys actually go and see every movie that's released? Because I'm really curious as to what led you to think this might be worth your eight fifty.

We actually did not see his hit punched-by-a-deer kids movie though. Vin Diesel being bitten by a duck - sadly yes.

I love how Ice Cube has been going on talk shows wearing a black sweatshirt with XXX: State of the Union on the front. It looks so dumb. The kind of sweatshirt you buy at the gift shop. He tries so hard, but in just a totally goofy, misguided way.

i think i'll definitely be getting baked and renting the dvd at some point after seeing the clip where ice cube jumps like 50ft off a building and catches the landing rails of a helicopter. i was sitting at a bar one night and he was promoting the movie on some sports show ( i don't know i don't watch tv). The sound was off on the tv's and i swear i must've seen that same clip like 10 times that night. i think the first one probably would've been funny to watch but i doubt funny enough for me to sit through, but with the inclusion of Ice Cube, how can i pass that up?

OMG I just remembered one of the things about this week's Stephen King column in the back of Entertainment Weekly that cracked me up the most.

He's basically complaining about the extras that come on DVDs, but the DVDs that he watched are almost uniformly terrible movies. I'm talking "Day After Tomorrow" terrible.

Near the end of the article he complains about the DVD for "XXX" but then says something like "about the only good thing in the XXX DVD package was a ticket to XXX2".

At which point I fell off the toilet laughing. Good thing I was done.

My brother just put this on, and oh man. I thought it was a joke movie. :? The first 5 minutes has ninjas. Ninjas!!

Just digest that for a moment.

NINJAS.

And then Samuel L being all badass. Oh man. This is just... painful. Utterly amusing and funny, but painful.
Songfighter since back in the day.
