British bands are better than American bands

Links and other hanky panky that doesn't have to do with anything in particular.

Your right Erik Kiss is waaaaayyyyyy better.

Like I said before, it's silly to compare them because they weren't trying to do the same thing.

We used a Gordon Lightfoot song ("Beautiful") for our first dance at the wedding. Also I'm taking Michelle to see him in concert this summer. Rock!

I play The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald as part of my 'Death Set' sometimes, which usually also includes Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Country Death Song (Violent Femmes). Seems to go over surprisingly well in the bars.

Slightly More On Topic: Wasn't Autograph from Australia? Tuuuurn up... the raaaadio... or were they from Russia? Ah, I can't remember.
Ben Folds isn't from Australia, but he does have a place there. Oh, and Men At Work. I like those guys.

Has no one mentioned Leonard Cohen? Or Neil Young? If you're going to fight for Canada, drop some good names.

Neil Young is Canadian? Wow, didn't know that one. I love how this has turned into a complete Canada vs. Australia contest. Apparently, that Britain has better bands than the US is in near total agreement.

Now I won't have a bad word said against those young lads. Though I live in Brisbane now - I was born and bred in Newcastle - the home of the 'chair and the mighty Newcastle Knights Rugby League football team.

Us Novocastrians stick together (also I actually think they are (or were?) a pretty good band)
