Don't like hiphop? Let's go opposite side of the field..How about guitar virtuosos? Don Ross (guitar fingerpicking world champion TWICE, Liona Boyd. Both internationally acclaimed. )
Plus, we have LEAF!!! And that pretty much sews it up right there.

We used a Gordon Lightfoot song ("Beautiful") for our first dance at the wedding. Also I'm taking Michelle to see him in concert this summer. Rock!Leaf wrote: Gordon Lightfoot

I play The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald as part of my 'Death Set' sometimes, which usually also includes Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Country Death Song (Violent Femmes). Seems to go over surprisingly well in the bars.
Slightly More On Topic: Wasn't Autograph from Australia? Tuuuurn up... the raaaadio... or were they from Russia? Ah, I can't remember.
Ben Folds isn't from Australia, but he does have a place there. Oh, and Men At Work. I like those guys.

Now I won't have a bad word said against those young lads. Though I live in Brisbane now - I was born and bred in Newcastle - the home of the 'chair and the mighty Newcastle Knights Rugby League football team.TheHipCola wrote: Did I already mention Silverchair? .
Us Novocastrians stick together (also I actually think they are (or were?) a pretty good band)
