I'm a gigantic Residents fan of over 25 years. I'd be ALL OVER that. Why not organize it yourself?

Would Renaldo & the Loaf be included?
Here's my record label page thingie with stuff about me if you are so interested: https://greenmonkeyrecords.com/jim-of-seattle/

Oh yes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Presidents. And I love Primus who love the Residents. I dig this song called "Tippi Toes" they did.

As the thread starter, Mr. Chucky it's your ball game. Set a date and whore the thing out. :P

Tippi Toes was the Meters. You're thinking of Sinister Exaggerator, also great.

Also: This would be a fun sidefight. I don't know a lot of Residents stuff, but I know a few POTUSA tunes, and wouldn't mind listening to more from either band.

I'm still thinkin' about it. I have a life outside of the songfight! world; and I blow at internet related stuff... Soooo first, anybody got webspace?

And yes, Renaldo and the Loaf would be included. But that's as far as we stray.

I could probably host anyone who isn't so inclined.

Okay, I gave it about five minutes of though and decided that I definitely want to do this... Provided that enough people are interested. Who's in?

Chucky, I am in and would love to help out with anything you need for this fight. Including hosting the fight page, voting, etc. when it comes to that.

This sounds much more fun than covering one of my own songs as suggested by another coverfight

I've not heard a lot of Residents - but I like what I've heard - and I'm always up for doing a POTUSA cover.

I think anything involving the Residents could drag me from the hole I am in.

I am in.

It is so on like Donkey Kong.

Ok, well would one month be enough time? Like if I were to set the date for July 9th, 11th? around there..

Until that's decided. Everybody call a song.. Not that I much like that system but I don't want 20 Constantinoples and 20 Peacheses, or whatever.. Since this whole thing was my stroke of genius; I'll wait and pick mine after everybody else chooses.

End of July would be better for me.

I have to think about the song but something like Sinister Exaggerator appeals (I have to play the Snakefinger card)

I'll have a listen to all my Residents songs and see which one I want to do.

What would the census be if someone mixed a Residents and a Presidents song together?
