Songwriter's Hall of Fame ceremonies

Post by roymond »

So I got to go again last night, having missed last year's. Nice to see an honest, down to earth ceremony about songwriters without the glitz of other such events. Some awesome performances from Steve Cropper (Sittin on the dock of the bay), Bill Withers (Ain't no sunshine), Les Paul, and Smokey Robinson (My Girl).

Smokey is way cool and real. Also Henry Juszkiewicz, CEO of Gibson, who's work guiding philanthropic activities at Gibson won him a Patron of the Arts award.
