Yeah I was kind of wondering what happened to that as well. Last I remember Hans Grueber, the organizer of the fight, had something blocking his schedule and tried I guess unsuccessfully to hand it off to someone else. From there I think it just died. Did you ever work on that "Tom Sawyer" cover Leaf? Hell you ought to just for fun.Leaf wrote:...of course, this is getting reminiscent of the "prog fight" that never happened though... Who wants to cover the Eagles?

I intend to treat my selected Eagles song with the respect it deserves.Dan-O from Five-O wrote:I'm curious, what type of cover is everyone thinking about doing? Straight forward? Completely re-tooled? I've got an idea for a completely rocked up version of the song I'm doing working in my head right now. I was just wondering what everone else's working ideas are.

I'm not sure how these side fights work, but I'd be into kicking a version of Take It Easy. With my friends, the Beresfordians as guests, of course.
Punk rock is for children. Grab a six-pack at Half-a-Dozen Records.

Hey Kids - Deepest apologies for letting the progfight slide. However, this is certainly in a similar vein. Anywho, I'm (hopefully) halfway through jury duty...and cutting down to part-time at work, as it has turned into an all-consuming monster. Also wrapping up a few freelance projects and talking to new clients. I hope to have a completed King Crimson song by the end of the year, if I ever have time to play again.Dan-O from Five-O wrote:Yeah I was kind of wondering what happened to that as well. Best wishes, I'll be checking in when I get the chance. Rock the Henley!
PS. I don't understand why Joe Walsh still plays with these clowns. He's so much better than the rest...did he blow his fortune up his nose, and needs the money? Seriously, the James Gang was so much cooler... 8)
Evil never looked so good.
