Ya know, I haven't spent much time on the boards lately, so I must have missed the discussion about why there are 2 song titles this week. Kindly clue me in.
I will have to talk to the other squirrel damage folks, but we are likely in for "shaving in the dark"

I share your confusion Tony. What's up with the Licorice & Pumpkin(?) fights. I see some Halloween tie-in but what's the deal?

Elton John? Shouldn't that be "someone shaved my wife tonight"?

I figured the two-fight week was because the song quantity has tapered off a bit of late. There have been a few fights recently with like 4 or 5 songs in them.

Licorice, of course. I figured out pumpkin, but the black was sytymieing me.

That's what I thought, but I liked the smaller fights. Meant I could spend more time with them. Though bizarrely smaller fights seemed to garner less reviews.

You know, I was thinking two sides of an LP. The colour thing completely passed me by.

Yeah, I also like the teeny weeny fights. Part of the fun is watching to see which titles are the ones people want to do and which aren't. The two-fight week is a nice bit of nostalgia, though. Like, maybe we're small again!!!

I predict 19 Moon Shines and 11 Shavings.

I'm getting a nice idea about jack the ripper makes plea for justice. Honest guv, I was only shaving in the dark. Oh yeah, just wasn't shaving myself. Rock opera, horror funk? Thriller? Why is it called a "cut-throat" razor anyway?
so . . . when was the last time you backed up?

I was thinking 'lead' and 'platinum' and wondering why the hell the platinum was orange. I suck.

I of course thought instantly of Libertarian Party, since their website is http://www.lp.org and I do a lot of volunteering for them, and I'm also kinda pissed off that somebody stole my Badnarik for President sign off my lawn.

Maybe I'll do something this week. Had music recorded and words written, but didn't get to put it together for I Thought I Loved You. (put the lyrics in the archive anyway...)

'neath the cover of october skies

CAN i just have some more moon shine with you, my love?

You should submit it anyway. My first song was shit and I knew it. At least we all know that you've got talent. Plus, if the verses are really good, it might make up for sub-par chorus.
