Okay, mine's as done as it's going to get. Wish I'd had more than a day to spend on it but I'm still happy with how it turned out.

I just had to do the whole homecoming thing, so mine's gonna be a little late getting finished. Unless you want Bjam feat. five of her teenage girl friends who are sleeping over. Which, y'know, might not be so good.

Surely you mean John Waters?

Anyway mine's written and just peachy. But not recorded... I will desperately try and be in before midnight GMT on the 3rd.

Ditto. Now's the time where we get down on our phunty little knees and say, we promise we poured forth hours upon hours of work into this! Feel free to hate it, but please don't toss it off as effortless trash!

Much-efforted trash, well... that's your prerogative. To be wrong, that is.

Rabid Garfunkel formally apologizes to The Hip Cola for the lateness of his theme song. It will happen, but I'm going to miss the 10-3 deadline. D'oh!

I'll hopefully have mine done tomorrow sometime, but if not, the 4th. I have the music done, etc., just need to do vox, which due to physical ailments beyond my control, blah blah blah... Not that I ever could sing, but I *really* can't sing right now.

I'll chime in with the 'very happy or very upset' sentiment as well ;)

yah, it's coming, but not quite finished. It might be finished today, might not. Depends on how the vocal factory is performing. Dre, won't be long if it's not today. RG, no worries!

I have not had a chance to do the louder parts of my recording yet (guitar, vocals). I have three roommates and it is very difficult to find time alone to do this stuff. Also helps that I accidentally thought that this wasn't due until the 13th, but whatever.

Many many apologies to my coveree. I will most certainly have this song done as soon as physically possible, maybe by tomorrow if I can get some time alone tonight.

I would really like to say that I will work extra-hard to make this song worth the wait, but I don't swing that way.

Of 25 entrants, I have received ten (plus the one I did) at press time. Four are confirmed late, with another, what, three maybe-late. I'll post 'em tonight, I think, what I've got, and update as they come in. I think. The thing is that if I wait for the late people there's a chance I'm going to be waiting for seven months or more, but at the same time I want to avoid the problem that I've personally run into of downloading all the songs, then finding out weeks later I missed a couple late ones. So I dunno. I think maybe I'll wait for 2/3 of them. That's sixteen. If I don't get sixteen by tonight I'll wait until tomorrow or the next day.
