Courtney Freaking Love, insane though she may be, ROCKS.

I love Laurie Anderson more than any of you, but I'm not about to claim that she "rocks". And Enya? Let's not make lists of females in music. I believe the thread's title is "Girls Who Rock". Hmph.

Like the girl from my sig line, for instance. She rocks my world, but that's not the same as "rocking".

Uncontested. But as far as individual songs go, consider if you will "Sharkey's Night", from her movie (NOT the soundtrack, but the movie itself) "Home of the Brave". I defy you to sit still during it.

And to me, that qualifies as "rocking".
