Every male that worked at the last two restaurants I worked in back in Atlanta (several years ago now) was absolutely and totally into two things. Slipknot and DragonballZ. They wouldn't shut up about those two things. Ever. I love cartoons but I hate, HATE Dragonball Z. Slipknot is ok...I don't care for the gimmick...but I listen to bands that act all hardcore and I guess thats all a gimmick too.

They Might Be Giants...I mean whats up...naw..I'm kidding..they are awesome
HOWEVER:
Everybody seems to like <b>Cars</b>... I'm not into cars and I really really don't get the appeal. I don't mean people 'really into cars' I mean... <b>Cars in general</b>. I just don't think they are worth it. I get a lot of flack about this from my family. I have one currently...but I'm certainly not excited about hemmoraging money for payments and insurance. (Not to mention everything else about cars that require cash hemorage) I always get told that I have potential 'LOSER' status when I don't own a <b>vehicle</b> and that it's part of the whole symbolic status symbol. Apparently girls don't want to go out with guys who don't have<b> cars</b> for a number of reasons. Well, I'm hear to tell you that girls won't go out with me whether or not I own a<b> car</b> for a number of reasons. None of which apparently have anything to do with whether or not I'm a proud owner of <b>'92 Mazda 929</b> that discourages me from riding my bike to the store and promotes pounds to my gut.

Paper Scissors Rock is a complex game of mental strategy and character judgement.

You can get away with it in a big city like Boston or NYC. Although even here, it's not so bad when you're in your early 20's, but at 28 I get the feeling people consider me less than "successful" because of it. But if I had an extra couple grand, I'd be spending it on a Stella guitar.

dude. give me a break.
There is absolutely nothing complex about the game. Three year old children play the game. There is no mental strategy involved, or character judgement. That's like saying rolling unweighed dice is a complex game of strategy... c'mon!
You wave your fist in the air three times and make one of THREE shapes... ooohhh.... tricky!!
which shape will hack use? Well, he seems to favour republican policies, but he's got he laid back groove in his tunes... must be a scissors guy....shit! rock! the fucker went rock...ok round two... uh...well, he went rock... so will he repeat rock? I went paper and he cut my paper.... yeah... he'll go rock... I'll go paper...SHIT! he went scissors again... ok...ok.... I'm gonna go rock fucker...SHIT SHIT he went paper... bastard....

I really cannot say enough good things about this book. This is without exaggeration, the definitive text for all things RPS, and is a must-own book for any RPS enthusiast, regardless of experience level. The books release could not be more timely, coming as it does during a huge surge in interest in RPS (thanks in large part to the co-authors of this book, Doug and Graham Walker, as well as the RPS community-at-large), and right around the 2004 International Championships in Toronto NY (congratulations to this years champ, Lee Rammage).
The state of the sport has never been more exciting. This text provides what I see as an essential and detailed view of todays fast-paced (and ever-expanding) world of Rock Paper Scissors, while remaining respectful to its rich history. Whether you are already aware of the highly rewarding activity that is Rock Paper Scissors, or are just thinking of starting on your journey towards more effective conflict resolution, this book is for you.
I can't think of anything funnier to add to this....I guess this really does...."rock"
think about it this way: if you can consistently beat someone at tennis, you're better than them at tennis. But if you can consitently beat them at RPS, it's like you own their mind.

I don't get it. How is the motion of wagging your fist in the air different from swinging a racket at a ball? You still "own their mind". (debatable... actually. But you get the drift..."
I mean... look at that site man.... they have a "society" of RPS players... too bad about the RPS lockout eh? I hear they might miss the whole season....

I'm with you Hobs. I don't get the appeal at all one iota.
I'm gonna third that one. I have not the faintest idea what people like about that.

I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me!"
(definitely NOT an entry into the forum's topic, I love that movie)

Leaf, C-hack was kidding do0d. Thats called 'sarcasm', look into it.
(of course, you could have been kidding too)
Do0d, don't even get me started on Christmas and Santa Clause...or Easter and some BUNNY... that irks me to NO END. <i>But it's for the kids!</i> ...that makes it worse.

big boobs and shaved pu$$y: (did someone say this already?) I don't get big boobs... just not my thing I guess. I guess I'm old fashioned..but I like a little grass on the field. Not REQUIRED...but appreciated.
