Songfighters you get mixed up
Kapitano and Kamakura, for obvious reasons
I keep thinking the Hell Yeahs are Glenn Case's Rachel, and then I remember it isn't
I used to get Abominominous and Abecedarian mixed up for obvious reasons also, but very soon the clear distinction became obvious
When I hear 15-16 Puzzle, I often think I'm listening to Blind Mime Ensemble, and vice versa
I know there are others...

Ah, so it's been subliminal. Just slowly taking on your personality in passing. Then one day there will be no J$. on the boards and we won't even notice. He'll have filled in the void using your articulations.j$ wrote:Could it be because it's a 'Single White Female' scenario and he wants to become me? I have no idea why.
Jack, Roymond. Thanks, I take the 'nobody like Hoblit' stuff to heart. Soon, I'll be back in the ring.

That was the old Caravan Ray - the one aparently frozen for ever in time at 1412 posts - trapped in the amber of his own incompetence.j$ wrote:Could it be because it's a 'Single White Female' scenario and he wants to become me? I have no idea why.
The new Caravanray is currently undergoing treatment for his suppressed homoerotic hero-worship issues.
...anyway - I can't tell the difference between any of these Americans - they all sound like Rone Rivendale to me.

Carol Cleveland Sings, Forty Second Songs, Jonathan Mann, and Spinto Band. I can never remember which permutations of the above are related to other permutations of the above. Like, am I correct in thinking that Spinto Band is the signed version of CCS, JM releases as FSS, and aside from some musical similarities the only other thing in common is that they've done a couple of collabs?
When I was still in New York I saw the Spinto Band perform once and afterwards I went up to the only band member who wasn't already being mobbed and I asked him about that and he just kind of stared at me blankly, and didn't seem to know what the hell Song Fight was. But he was the bass player so I took it accordingly.
Oh and also I tend to get Topmeat Surdo and Vanadium Pentoxide confused for some reason. Also NiL and Frank Zappa.
