Dazed and Confused

Post by raisedbywolves »

Is there really not a thread for this already? I didn't see one...

Anyway, A+. One of my all-time favorites. Just so perfect.

Yeah, it's really good.

Quite possibly the only time I've actually liked Ben Hoofleck in a movie.

i actually enjoyed this one. i was expecting not to enjoy it since i'm not really a fan of movies about high school or drug movies (which i was expecting this to be), but it surpassed my expectations swimmingly.

plus it was interesting to see matthew mcconnaughey (sp?) in something other than a chick flick.

I think you're forgetting about a little something called, ahem...Reindeer Games!!! It's okay. I'm sure that was a perfectly innocent oversight. And he was certainly da bomb in Phantoms!

Second billing to Peter Weller.

Oh wait, that was Screamers, not Phantoms.

Did we see Phantoms?

I can't imagine that we didn't, but the synopsis isn't ringing any bells. Written by Dean Koontz, and Affleck is a sheriff? Sounds can't miss. The Phantoms line, though, is from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and more or less the only funny thing in the movie.

Yeah, this is one of my favourite films - and the only thing that Linklater ever did that truly justifies his reputation (that I have seen).

[/slight controversy]
