Ravenous

Post by WeaselSlayer »

I just bought this movie the other day on a whim after remembering seeing it when I was like 12 and really far too young for it. Anyway, I'm obsessed with it. It's amazing. Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle are so rad in it, and the score by Damon Albarn and Michael Nyman is just so good. The whole movie is somehow so sick and terrifying but also hilarious. And the music follows suit, really chilling stuff.

Yeah, this is a really good movie. Really great atmosphere, and really original cannibal-vampire bizarreness. It's usually pretty cheap too. I need to buy it.

I will have to keep an eye out for this then, after these glowing praises.

I do love Cannibal: The Musical, though.

Also a great movie, Ravenous is sort of like the non-musical older sibling to Cannibal.
