People who don't like leftovers.

I was under the impression that you guys had penises. Be a man, eat that week-old chicken strip and soggy fries, goddamnit.

I don't get why Ashlee Simpson lip-synching was a huge scandal. This little flub on SNL was all over the news for a whole week. What's the big deal? It's not like people haven't lip-synched on SNL before, I mean, get real.

I recently read a whole article on this type of thing. I don't get it either..and the article said we should totally be used to this concept by now. I already am. However, the article went on to say that maybe performers should be a bit more honest about it though. Label it something different ...we've come to expect LIVE performances.... we should get LIVE performances. If not, call the show something slightly different so we KNOW to expect good entertainment but not a LIVE performance.

Also, IF I were to ever PUT leftovers from a restaurant INTO my fridge...it would most certainly not be FAST FOOD LEFTOVERS. *Slaps sober in face with penis*

Sad that we should be used to it. Very sad.

The reason it's such a huge deal is because Ashlee said numerous times that she would never lip sync. And then she got caught red handed. At least Milli Vanilli won a Grammy before they got busted. Sheesh.

I'll forward this to Jonah Lomu.

The object is pretty much exactly the same as baseball (I like baseball). Except the games go for 5 days, there are long periods where not much happens and it usually ends in a draw - I suppose it is an aquired taste.

The best bit about cricket, I suppose is that its a wonderful way to humiliate the English. That's always a good thing.

STOP PRESS: Austalia just won the 2nd Test in Nagpur. Take that, curry munchers! First time Australia has won a series in India since 1969.

Except the last time we played, we beat you, easy. Australian cricket is in a lull, and don't try and claim otherwise. :)

ps I can't stand cricket. Just so you know. The most tedious game the British ever invented.

There are a couple of song on their last cd (or is it next cd? (emotive)) that I liked. Everything else just annoys me.

Dude. The Ramones were awesomely horrible. And the Misfits? Great punk music, until Glenn Danzig decided that he was Satan or something.

The "underground" vibe.

As in, there's a certain moment for doom that's written behind a band--the moment that the cool kids realize that that band has risen beyond the underground grasp and must be released. I see it happen all the time, given that I'm an "underground" college radio dj. It happened to the Dave Matthews Band. It happened to the White Stripes. It happened to the Flaming Lips. It happened to Modest Mouse. It happened to Josh Woodward. In the end, nobody changed but the crowd. (Actually not really true for tFL and MM, but you get the idea.) It even happened to Led Zeppelin, which may even be the reason that, two albums later, they actually did start sucking.

Yay for exploring new zones in music, boo for basing your appreciation of the music on that fact.

Not that I'm accusing anyone directly of doing that, before someone attacks me.

You know what else I don't get? Beer. Ugh. Ugh. I'd rather swallow a ball of Gak.

They've got some great songs (20 eyes, last caress, martian), but I feel pretty confident he's putting on no less of a show than say, ashlee simpson. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I love the movie where he gets punched out though.

I don't get the Eagles. I grew up in a small farm community (Walla Walla, Washington) where every dumb-ass moustache and cowboy hat wearing jackass would drive around BLASTING the Eagles. Then everytime you happen to be at a bar and there's kareokee...UHHGH!! Dude, you can't sing, so don't pick "Seven Bridges Road" that's mostly a vocal song!!

But the Eagles and most bands I hate (Pink Floyd, ZZ Top and many more) aren't because they suck, it's because I've heard the damn songs 300,000,000,243 times. Yes I counted.

I'd like to smash Don Henley's face in.
