Sober, could you tell me where exactly I linked my soundclick page? Since you were indirectly accusing me of such. I said I had a page, I never linked it. So your arguement is moot.
And Denyer, not a chance. You'd just get all your buddies to vote for you and that's not a true contest.
Just get off the topic of Rone Rivendale, it's not like I've submitted a song in like a month now. It's retarded to keep flaming me over and over again. I was tryin to take the high road for the longest time but it's old now.

From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style.

Well, you sure never shut the hell up about it.
My argument is not moot. My argument is that your music is awful, and placing 70th in a race against a thousand runners who have no legs is not something to brag about.
My argument is that you are socially repulsive, and having the company of a bigoted teenage australian is preferrable to you.
Your best plan of action from here is: take a breather. Get better at music. Collect yourself. Prepare yourself mentally for harsh criticism when you submit stale looped crap, or even if you submit something great. Someone will tear it apart no matter what, no matter who you are.
If you cannot deal with that, then you absolutely should leave.

If I record it tonight, I will be in for Kim Deal. If not, then I will not be in for Kim Deal.
ETA: 1am. I will probably not be in for Kim Deal. I'll do it as part of my AAW WTF though, so eh, whatever.

I have no place in this debate (if you can call it that), I just thought this was worth emphasising
If the winds are with us I shall be sailing with the Dirty Allisons this week.
If not, The Kids are in for the Kim Deal fight anyway. Possibly splitting the Furry vote, but so be it, I really like both of the tracks I'm involved in.

I am in for Jesus on the Intercom. Did it up in 3 hours yesterday, with the goal of doubling the bass with an acoustic guitar, all single note lines. I ended up dessing the piss outta the acoustic guitar (just in the heavy parts) so that it'd be there to kinda solidify the metallic tone of a picked bass, but not be squeaky.
Wait is this the wrong thread? I couldn't find another prefight thread. Fukit.

I got nothing this week. Hopefully the next set of titles will be a bit more conservative with their proper nouns.

Well, my entry was written and fully recorded in three hours, is really cheesy-metal/ballad style, PLUS I had dental surgery that morning and I couldn't move my numb lower jaw when I sang...so I sound a bit mentally impaired. Or vocally impaired, rather...so don't curse it too much...it's already cursed. I don't expect anyone will dig my Jesus that much, but it makes me laugh!beatlebrent wrote:...botox...you typically have powerful entries. Curse it.

Cable Beach
There is a place where my love alone can reach me
Only in winter my heart is an offering to him
Taking my hand you have shown me the secrets of life
And I wonder how long - can this last for all time?
I will always remember the day
You loved me and then turned away
Slowly we walked down the sands towards the beach you held my hand
The last time that I saw my love so unsure
Along Cable Beach
Pebbles there are many
Sands are grey and rust is on the rails
Tears of silver line my eyes
Along the Cable Beach
Time was never wasted
Silver coals like tears upon the shore
My love lies waiting
Along the Cable Beach
Placing the circle the wreath settles firm upon my head
Just a symbol; provision of comfort for the dead
Once discarded its purpose to bind my spirit now
Small protection the haunting will find a way somehow
I pray for a happier day
A bright future born of decay
Pebbles there are many
Sands are grey and rust is on the rails
Tears of silver line my eyes
Along the Cable Beach
Time was never wasted
Silver coals like tears upon the shore
