Times up. Pencils down.

36 participants. I'll post the list in a new thread so everyone can get started on their lists. I used your messageboard name in most cases, so if your "band" name is different, you may want to post it in case some of the other people don't know who you are and want to check out your songs before picking a song for you.

One week to make your list. PM me with it.

Be well,
Ken

Hey, are we restricted to just the official fights, or are sidefight songs eligible also, so long as they were conducted within the SF community?

I think you should stay within the songfight archives, but if you really think it would make an awesome cover, go for it.

Sausage Boy is in:

Jonny Juice and the Good Time Boys
Sausage Boy
Mr B & Mr C

I am going to try and keep in the songfight archives. I think there should just be enough songs to go around. I might have to supplement with a couple of other songs, if that isn't too much trouble.

I have some songs that aren't songfights but I have played at Songfight events, can I use those?

Dang, this is proving to be harder than I thought it would be, due to a combination of: a) not having enough songs, b) not having enough songs that I don't consider embarrassing, c) not remembering everyone's ouvre as well as I thought I did, and d) there being an ass-load of participants. I doubt anyone here knows any of my songs since they're all 2+ years old, but if for some reason someone has a suggestion for me for who should cover what, shoot me a PM.

I'm fully aware that I'll be everyone's 'short straw' and apologise beforehand to whoever gets me... :D

But would it be a good idea for everyone to make their lyrics available, because not everyone posts them in the lyric thread, but I'm sure everyone has a copy of them somewhere.... I dunno just a thought!... shutting up now!

Man, I'm working on my list, and I've only got songs picked for maybe eight or ten people. But you're one of 'em. :)

'Course, you gotta wait to find out which...

Well, Mr. Spoon, the short straw that I hold is for whomever is unfortunate enough to have me cover them!

I have 20+ songs here, and all but one are as Paco del (or Del) Stinko. The other is the one entry under "SLAMPIG"

ken, are we meant to send you a list ordered by preference, with #1 being most-wished-for?

You could do it that way, but I haven't made any plans as to how I will pick songs yet.

Just FYI - all the songs I'm choosing from are listed under Heuristics Inc. and I believe all of the words are on heuristicsinc.com, and also either on the lyrics forum here (or on the old forum, which of course is gone). Shouldn't be impossible to find any of them.
