Two great music videos

Links and other hanky panky that doesn't have to do with anything in particular.

This confirms everything I knew about Hey Ya to be true. (I mean this in a good way, Mr. 3000.)

That would have been awesome even without the punchline.

One of my co-workers has been playing that song at work. It's definitely awesome. I consider Weird-Al the uncle of nerdcore, the way Neil Young was considered by some to be the grandfather of grunge. (Not seriously, but, you know, he's definitely in the family tree there somewhere.)

Yes the future of overly loud guitarist’s pointing to their ear to complain about not being able to hear their monitor over their amp is quite safe. (Check it out he does it around 55 seconds in)

No Sven, I thought that at first as well. It's actually just his low E that nobody (Hello Mom? Dad? A little help please?) bothered to cut off or at the least roll up into one of those cool little circle thingys.

Two of the greatest drummers ever. The version of "Sing, Sing, Sing" from Benny Goodman Live At Carnegie Hall, has GK never relenting on the beat even when the dynamics bring it down to whisper level - then he tears it open. (there's an album for the "all-time" list. 1939, too!) I have the duel between those two on vinyl. Pretty cool, though the visuals are fun. Thanks!
