Cafe Tacube

Post by roymond »

Cafe Tacuba has gotten most of the play time on my iPod this past month. All four of their albums are great, but the last one, Cuatro Caminos ("Four Paths", 2003), just rocks so cool. These guys are the Mexican bastard child of XTC and the Red Hot Chilly Peppers.

I still don't understand Spanish, but check them out!!!

I concur. No idea what the hell they're singing about, but damn, it's bouncy and great.

Kinky is great. I heard their song "The Headphonist" (with guest spoken word vocal from the guy from Cake, second CD) on the radio randomly a while back and got the CD. Later on I got the first one too. Definitely inventive, recommended.
