I can never listen to my own songs for a while after finishing them. I have to separate the creative process from the final product, otherwise I'll still look at the music as something to work on. With the Flypaper Orchestra album, I took it offline for a while because I was sick of it and saw so much wrong with it, but I just had to go ahead and put it up. I'm fine with it now. It was a period of life and that album is a document.
So, I'll admit I listen to my own stuff from time to time, but usually as a way to look back on what I've done, like a photo album. I like moving on and discovering new stuff.
