Sony PSP

Whoever it was who said "Don't get a PSP" (john|m?) was wrong- this thing is freakin *awesome*. After I installed 'custom' firmware, that is. This little gadget is exploited to the max, I can play downloaded UMD rips through USB, stream MP3s and movies (any format just about) through USB or WiFi, run 'homebrew' games and apps... if I find something I *can't* do with this, I'll let you know.

God, I love hacking shit and making it do stuff they don't want you to do with it. Thank you Sony for making such a great handheld console. And thank you, hacker community, for letting me use it to it's full potential. Hell, I even have an app that lets me use it as a remote control for my TV and stereo through it's iR port.

shrug, I knew all of that stuff when I made that recommendation, but I guess the system is suited to you.

Sony, lack of decent games (read: not shitty ports of existing PS2 titles), UMD movies, terrible battery life, and it's expensive. I found that I was only using it to watch anime in class. The DS thoroughly outclasses it as a gaming system, and if I want videos on the go, I'll buy a Zune (which is less bulky and awkward anyway).

Fair enough. However, as far as games go, Loco Roco. 'nuff said :)
(I loved the 2 Katamari games on my PS2, but Me and my Katamari on this kind of sucks, due in part to the lack of a second analog stick)
